2002 Buick Rendezvous CXL
This Rendezvous is a very nice riding vehicle. It has been a good car for us but it is time for something different. I will now note for you the good, bad and ugly.
The Good:
The car has almost every option available for the year. Heads up display, 6 disc changer, AWD, leather, 3rd row seating, backup sensors, heated seats, cruise power everything including seats, center console in all 3 rows. It is a nice decked out model. It also runs good and has been a daily driver as long as we have had it. I just drove it and the steering is good, the brakes are firm and it accelerates and shifts properly. The Tires are in really good shape as shown in the pictures, a lot of tread left. There has been a recent rebuild of the transmission and the engine. We have some paperwork available but not all.
The Bad:
There are a lot of miles on the car and it has developed a few minor issues. The AWD disable light is on. We are told it has something to do with the breaking system. I have driven this car in lots of snow even with the light on and have not had any trouble the AWD seemed to work just fine even with the light on. The ABS light is also on, we were told that was why the AWD was disabled, and that the 2 systems are linked. There may be small things wrong that I dont notice so keep in mind its got a lot of miles, but its still very nice.
The UGLY:
Once upon a time, I had loaded the rendezvous with gear and was proceeding to unload it. I couldn't see where i was backing up very well and proceeded to hit a large stationary object at a VERY LOW rate of speed (backing into a driveway slowly) The stationary object was fine of course but the poor rendezvous was scarred for life. see the pictures of the rear passenger side quarter panel. The rest of the car is in fair condition, but dont expect a showroom beauty.
Terms:
I expect $500 down via paypal upon close of the auction, this non refundable deposit keeps the bidding serious and is non negotiable. Pickup or buyer arranged delivery only.
