Thanks for looking at my auction! For Sale is my 2002 Suburban. I thought that my wife would love it because it is sporty and looks great and is anything but a minivan but it turns out it was too big for somebody who used to drive a honda CRX! I traded it in for a truck at Three Peaks Auto and they are the ones selling it. The owner is a great friend of mine and I am helping him list this vehicle on E-bay!
Pros: It has the powerful, reliable Vortec 5.3 V-8 engine (285 horsepower, 335 ft lbs of torque) coupled with an automatic transmission with Chevy's Tow Haul feature. It is a great vehicle to take the family on trips and haul the toys behind. It has every feature that the comparable GMC Denali has except not the larger (gas hog) 6.0 engine. Features include: power locks, power windows, power seats, leather, sunroof, quad captains chairs, thrid row seating (will seat seven), luggage racks,4x4, tow package, TV, CD, separate tape deck (I don't know why chevy put these in such a late model!), window tint, 20" Wheels, Z71 upgrade( includes skid plates, automatically locking rear differential, Tubular side steps, and colored bumpers), FFV (this means that it can run on normal gasoline or optional ethonal (E85) Fuel). In short this is a great vehicle that will do about anything you need it to.
Cons: as you can see in the pics, there are few imperfections in the paint, including a few scratches and spots and a rub on the front left corner of the bumper. The drivers seat leather has normal wear for the miles. It had an idle problem which I was told was in the fuel system. In chasing this problem I fixed many things that did not need fixing. I had fuel pump and fuel filter replaced, I did a tune up including replacing all the O2 sensors, spark plugs and wires. After all that, the problem remained. I took it to a different mechanic who simply replaced the idle air control valve which fixed the problem! My point here is that this problem of mine caused me to replace many things which can start to go wrong in the next 100k miles and which you don't have to fix!
It also has a new battery and new shocks. I started to install a DVD video system but didn't have time to finish it. It alredy has a monitor installed in the ceiling and just needs a DVD player installed. You can either install a dvd player in place of the current cd deck or put a stand alone unit in. If you don't have the skills to do this, an Car Audio shop can finish it for you. It has not been in any accidents or had any body work and has a clean title. Feel free to ask anything about the vehicle. Bid with confidence!
