I BOUGHT THIS AND USED IT IN MY BUSINESS FOR TWO YEARS. IT CAME FROM PENNSYLVANIA AND HAS SOME FRAME RUST, BUT DRIVES AND RIDES GOOD.
STRICTLY A WORK VEHICLE OR FOR WEEKEND ACTIVITIES, RECENTLY PULLED 30FT. TRAILER 1500 MILES WITH NO PROBLEMS.
WHAT'S RIGHT?
60 % TREAD TIRES ARE GOOD, REGULAR OIL CHANGES ON 3000 MILES SCHEDULE.
DRIVEN FROM GEORGIA TO COLORADO AND LOCALLY WITH NO PROBLEMS. 5.7L GETS 12/15 MILES PLUS PER GALLON.
ALSO HAS CLASS 4 HITCH AND WIRING FOR 4 PIN OR 7 PIN TRAILER. WIPERS WORK GOOD, LIGHTS GOOD, HEATER GOOD.
FRONT SEAT RECOVERED, NEW BATTERY, NEW ALTERNATOR, NEW STARTER, NEW RADIATOR.
FRONT SUSPENSION AND STEERING REBUILT BY CHEVY DEALER, ENGINE REBUILT 35K MILES BACK, NEW PLUGS AND PLUG WIRES 10K MILES BACK.
DUEL EXHAUST WITH GLASSPACKS, NO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS, SMOG PUMP REMAIN BUT ARE NOT BELTED.
LAST VEHICLE ISPECTION WAS IN TEXAS AND IT PASSED WITH A WINK AND A KNOD.
WHAT'S WRONG?
SOME RUST, A COUPLE HOLES IN BODY
DENT ON RIGHT SIDE DOOR.....DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES GOOD.
CHIPPED WINDSHIELD IN TWO SPOTS.
SLIGHT EXHAUST LEAK AT RIGHT MANIFOLD TO DOWNPIPE GASKET, REPLACED THIS DOUGHNUT ABOUT EVERY TWO YEARS.
