Requirements:
The business owner will need to complete and sign a Cars 4 Causes(r) registration form.
Provide a signed copy of your dealer/dismantler license.
Provide a valid driver's license for the owner and any of their authorized agents.
International Exporters (Outside North America)
Exporters must be pre-approved by our Corporate Office.
Requirements:
Documentation that proves you are a legitimate automotive related business in your home country.
A valid picture identification. Any of the following documents are acceptable:
*Merchant Identification Card.
*Federal Contributory Registration.
*Federal Identification Number.
*Operating Permit from Treasury Dept.
*Registration from Commerce and Trade Dept.
*Articles of Incorporated.
Complete and sign a Cars 4 Causes(r) export registration form, and certification of exportation form for each vehcile that does not have a SMOG certification.
All vehicles sold for export MUST be removed from Cars 4 Causes(r) property by a flatbed tow truck.
California Auto Dealers
California Vehicle Code Section 285
A dealer is a person not otherwise expressly excluded by Vehicle Code Section 286 who:
(a) For commission, money, or other thing of value, sells, exchanges, buys, or offers for sale, negotiates or attempts to negotiate, a sale or exchange of an interest in, a vehicle subject to registration, a motorcycle, snowmobile , or all-terrain vehicle subject to identification under this code, or a trailer subject to identification pursuant to Section 5014.1, or induces or attempts to induce any person to buy or exchange an interest in a vehicle and, who receives or expects to receive a commission, money, brokerage fees, profit, or any other thing of value, from either the seller or purchaser of the vehicle.
(b) Is engaged wholly or in part in the business of selling vehicles or buying or taking in trade, vehicles for the purpose of resale, selling, or offering for sale, or consigned to be sold, or otherwise dealing in vehicles, whether or not the vehicles are owned by the person.
California Auto Dismantlers
California Vehicle Code Section 220
An "automobile dismantler" is any person not otherwise expressly excluded by Section 221 who:
(a) Is engaged in the business of buying, selling, or dealing in vehicles of a type required to be registered under this code, including non-repairable vehicles, for the purpose of dismantling the vehicles, who buys or sells the integral parts and component materials thereof, in whole or in part, or deals in used motor vehicle parts. This section does not apply to the occasional and incidental dismantling of vehicles by dealers who have secured dealers plates from the department for the current year whose principal business is buying and selling new and used vehicles, or by owners who desire to dismantle not more than three personal vehicles within any 12-month period.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision (a), keeps or maintains on real property owned by him, or under his possession or control, two or more unregistered motor vehicles no longer intended for, or in condition for, legal use on the highways, whether for the purpose of resale of used parts, for the purpose of reclaiming for use some or all of the materials, whether metal, glass, fabric, or otherwise, or to dispose of them, or for any other purpose.

Because the following description is based on our initial observation (and some input from the donor) - issues may exist that are not described below - for this reason, we strongly recommend an inspection prior to bidding. Description:
Up for auction is a 2000 Dodge Durango V8 SUV, STK#160768. This vehicle is for sale to CA DEALERS, CA DISMANTLERS and INTERNATIONAL EXPORTERS (Outside North America) ONLY!!! Do not bid if you do not qualify!!! It has been inspected by our mechanics and was found to be running and driving; however, the transmission is slipping and will have to be re-built or replaced. There may be other mechanical issues that we are not aware of. This vehicle must be towed off our lot on a flat bed. All accessories were found to be working. The vehicle is in good condition for its age. The interior shows well and does not appear to have any major rips or tears. The exterior has some dents and scratches which are pictured below. The vehicle would be a great SUV for a small family. The V8 provides the towing power you need but the vehicles size helps save some money when it comes to gas. The registration expires 3/09 and there are no back fees that we are aware of. It has a Ca Title. Good luck bidding!!!

We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our auctions. You may inspect this item Monday-Friday from 9:00am-3:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am-11:30am at:

Payment Terms:
The successful high bidder must submit a non-refundable 25% deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit can be made over the phone with a credit card or with PayPal. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Any other arrangements must be agreed to before bidding. All financial transactions and paperwork must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle's transfer paperwork must be signed by the buyer prior to pick up or shipping. The shipping company can not sign for you. If you can not be there in person to sign these documents we can assist you by fax or email." Vehicle inspections must take place PRIOR to bidding and end of auction. By bidding without formally inspecting this car, you understand that issues overlooked and not described in the description are not grounds for cancelling this sale. Your bid is your acceptance of this vehicle AS-IS. FAILURE to comply with any of the terms will result in forfeiture of deposit and ownership rights to this vehicle. Vehicles are relisted on eBay if complete payment and paperwork are not completed within 7 days. Unpaid Item Disputes will be filed for any unpaid item, regardless of the circumstances.

Fees and Taxes:
Cars 4 Causes(r) charges a $149.00 administrative fee on ALL transactions. *(Cars 4 Causes(r) is a non-profit 501 (c)3 charity. Proceeds from this sale will go to support other charities and Cars 4 Causes(r) funded programs - such as youth education. In order for us to benefit charitable causes, the $149.00 must be collected on every transaction in order to afford our administrative costs and overhead such as postage fees, phone/internet costs and staffing at our vehicle facilities) Any sales tax or registration/title fees are the responsibility of the buyer! Shipping is responsibility of the buyer - we do not offer or arrange shipping! Vehicle must be picked up from our location in Santa Paula, CA 93060. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. New bidders/Zero Feedback Bidders:

Winning bidder will get ownership documents, and a bill of sale disclosing the winning bid. Winner will then be responsible for any tax and license fees (including back fees, if applicable).
