2001 Dodge Durango Four Wheel drive sport utility vehicle. Equipped with the 4.7 V8 Vortec engine, automatic transmission, and tow package. This vehicle has low 74,275 California miles, indicating less than 11,000 miles per year. This vehicle came to us from a small northern California police department, where it was very well taken care of and assigned to the Park Patrol division. This vehicle would be excellent for continued police service use, or a security vehicle.

The exterior of the truck is in excellent original condition with normal wear. The interior is in excellent original condition with normal wear. I have driven this truck and it runs excellent, front end is tight, suspension still feels good, excellent handling, and it's comfortable. This is a very durable vehicle.

VEHICLE EXTERIOR CONDITION
Overall condition of the exterior is excellent, with normal wear. We didn't repaint this vehicle because we didn't see any reason to. The original white paint on the exterior of this Durango still looks good. There are minor dings and scatches consistent with a used vehicle, and some small areas of touch up from removing the police decals. Overall the body is straight and the paint looks good. The front grille, headlights, and front bumper areas are in excellent original condition with normal wear. The front bumper is equipped with police push bars. The rear taillights and rear bumper areas are in excellent original condition with normal wear. All four tires are appear to be NEAR NEW. They are Goodyear Wrangler HT, size LT235-75-R15 with a spare to the rear. This is a rust free always California truck in overall excellent condition.
VEHICLE INTERIOR CONDITION
Overall condition of the interior is excellent original with normal wear. The front driver seat is in good to excellent original condition with normal wear. The front passenger seat is in excellent original condition with normal wear. The rear passenger plastic seat is in excellent original condition with normal wear. The dash pad is in excellent original condition with normal wear. It is not cracked. The dash face is in excellent original condition with normal wear. There is a factory AM/FM/Cassette stereo radio correctly installed in the dash. It is not working, possibly disconnected when they disconnected the other emergency equipment prior to sale. The carpeting is in good to excellent original condition with normal wear. There is also a set of floor mats included in the same condition. There is a center console between the front seats that held the police radio equipment. It still contains the Code 3 Arrowstik controller with plenty of room for additional radio equipment. There are two gun locks mounted to the prisoner cage panel located between the two front seats. There is also a Motorola police radio speaker mounted here. There is a flashlight charger mounted beneath the glove box. All four door panels are in excellent original condition with normal wear. The headliner is in good original condition with normal wear, and some holes from the radio equipment. The steering wheel is in excellent original condition with normal wear. It is equipped with optional cruise control that works fine. The overhead visors are in excellent original condition with normal wear. The rear cargo area is in excellent original condition with normal wear and contains a trunk organizer and box. There are two amber lights mounted inside to the rear in the cargo area. These were also disconnected by the police department prior to sale. There is a spare tire mounted under the cargo area to the rear. Overall this interior is clean, stock, and looks great.
VEHICLE ELECTRICAL CONDITION
Overall electrical condition of the vehicle is excellent. The factory air conditioning BLOWS COLD, and works great. There are separate tempature controls for driver or passenger. Equipped with factory heater/defroster, they work fine. Equipped with tilt wheel, it works fine. Equipped with factory cruise control, it works fine. Equipped with factory AM/FM/Cassette radio, it is not working. Equipped with ABS braking system, it works fine. Equipped with factory front driver and passenger air bags. Equipped with power steering, it works fine. Equipped with power brakes, ABS equipped. Equipped with power mirrors, they are not working. Equipped with power windows, they work fine. Equipped with power locks, they work fine. The interior door handles to the rear were disconnected from the inside only. The rear power window switches work fine. Equipped with rear window defroster, it works fine. Equipped with police light bar, it was disconnected by the police department prior to sale. Equipped with an overhead spotlight, it was disconnected by the police department prior to sale.
VEHICLE MECHANICAL CONDITION
This Dodge Durango is equipped with the 4.7 litre fuel injected V8 engine and automatic transmission. It is also equipped with pushbutton four wheel drive that was tested and works fine. The truck runs excellent. This truck has been driven occasionally since we acquired it, and we have not had any problems. Performance is excellent; it’s comfortable, dependable, and safe. The transmission shifts with no problems or unusual noises. The vehicle accelerates smoothly and sounds great, also no unusual noises. The engine does not ping or knock. Acceleration is strong, braking is strong, it just runs great overall. No known problems here.
NOTE: Some of you have emailed and asked why we always have “private” auctions. This is to protect you, our bidder, from any outside interference during the auction process. ALSO, any SECOND CHANCE OFFERS will always include our direct telephone number so that you can verify who we are.

We DO NOT finance vehicles. We accept PAYPAL for DEPOSITS ONLY. We DO NOT accept PAYPAL for any payment of the vehicle other than the deposit. I've done my very best to describe the vehicle as honestly as possible. I don't know everything about the vehicle's condition and don't claim to. I didn't go over every inch of the car inside and out, but tried to accurately describe the major points. The vehicle has been described as accurately as we know of its condition at the time of the auction. The information listed in the auction is subject to unintentional error. We know of no reason why you couldn't drive it anywhere, but of course cannot make any guarantees. Federal Law states that any vehicle over ten years old is exempt from mileage reporting due to age. We will do our best to assist with any international shipping, but we don’t have much information about them. It would be advisable to locate your own shipping company if you’re an over sea’s customer.
We will be here to assist with the transport by supervising the loading of the vehicle onto the truck, and other details as needed. Make sure you inquire to DAS information regarding insurance coverage's on the vehicles they transport. The vehicle can be stored free of charge for up to two weeks after the auction has ended, or longer with prior notification and agreement. Vehicles left past the agreed storage date are subject to a $15.00 per day storage fee. We are open for vehicle pick up during the week. We are not open on the weekend, but can make an exception with prior arrangement. Sorry but we spend weekends with our families.
VEHICLE REGISTRATION, SALES TAX, SMOG, ETC:
We are a licensed California auto dealer. The state requires that if you're out of state and plan on coming here to pick up the vehicle, you need to know that California law REQUIRES the buyer to pay sales tax, registration, and smog fee's if they pick up the car and drive it away. This is still the LAW even if you put the car on your trailer and it never touches the California roadway. If you're out of state, avoid can avoid all of these required fees by having your car shipped to your state. This in most cases is less expensive anyway by the time you figure gas, lodging, and other expenses.
If you are a California resident, we collect sales tax, registration fee, and a $58.25 smog inspection fee. We then provide you with temporary registration in the window so you can legally drive the vehicle until your title and license plates arrive in the mail.
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Please follow the rules of the auction after it is completed, regarding deposit and full payment deadlines. Anyone not following through with the auction will be reported to Ebay and NEGATIVE FEEDBACK will be left. There is a clear title on the vehicle. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 must be received by me within 24 hours of the close of auction via Paypal, money order, or cashiers check, sent via overnight express mail. After that, full payment needs to have been received within the next five business days of the close of auction. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL AS PAYMENT FOR THE BALANCE DUE. In other words, full payment balance after deposit is due 5 business days after the auction close date, and must be paid via cash, cashiers check, or money order. If you are unable to follow the simple rules of the auction please don't bid. If you have questions, ask them NOW.
VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND TRANSFER:
There is a clear title on the car. All vehicles that are sold to California buyers that legally require a smog inspection will include it, unless otherwise stated in the auction. Any California buyer will be responsible for all state sales tax, license and actual smog inspection fee. Any out of state buyer will need to contact their own DMV office for registration and transfer information.
