96 JEEP CHEROKEE RIGHT HAND DRIVE Here is a fine example of a used... well used, Postal Jeep. Keeping in mind this Jeep has over 200,000 miles, it will surprise you how well it runs. I have personally driven this Jeep and it rides and drives better than you would expect considering the miles. This was traded in on a new PostalPete Jeep from a nice lady who has a rather large route. She said it was serviced every 3,000 miles and was a terrific Jeep for her. We don't want to paint any "rosey" pictures and have you disappointed, nor do we want to tell you it is far worse than it is. Look the 24 pictures over and judge for yourself and bid accordingly. We classify Jeeps like this as a tad on the rough side and sell them as is to the highest bidder. This is a "NO RESERVE" auction, meaning that the last bidder is the owner, regardless of what the final price is. So, step up and bid because you're in for terrific deal. Who knows, you may end up owning this for a next to nothing. Thank you for viewing our auction and remember to bid and bid often. Please feel free to ask us any questions regarding this auction and I will personally answer them. On Nov-14-08 at 16:12:01 PST, seller added the following information: Here are some answers to a few of your questions. 1). The rust you see is limited primarily to the rocker panels. The rest of the Jeep is solid as a rock. The lady who owned this had a lot of gravel road driving and the paint got knocked off by the gravel and she didn't have it repaired. 2). The tires are better than half and all five are matching. 3). There is not a "buy it now" option. This Jeep will not be sold until the end of the auction and only to the highest bidder. AS ALWAYS, We require a $500.00 deposit within 12 hours of the close of the auction. For those who didn't win the auction and want this Jeep, we'll sell it to you if we haven't received a deposit in the 12 hours after the close of the auction. On Nov-17-08 at 11:20:26 PST, seller added the following information: I've had a ton of inquiries on this Jeep. I get more questions about how it runs and what is wrong with it...the problem is it is too cheap. Well, to answer your questions, I just drove it again and here is what I've noticed. It rattles (imagine that) and I would say it is a combination of shock/strut and body rattles. The heater blows through the defrost vents only, the A/C is inopt and it does have hand crank windows. However, the engine, transmission and 4X4 work fine. If you're not to fussy, this will get you by for awhile just the way it is. After all, the lady who traded it drove it daily until we delivered her new Jeep to her. And, I see no reason why it won't drive home after you buy it.
