Vehicle Description
Up for sale is my Jeep. Its in good condition. Everything under the hood runs perfectly, I have had no major issues, in fact I have never needed servicing on the engine. I do tune-ups oil changes always make sure theres oil/fluids etc. I have owned this Jeep for about 2 years now.
6 cylinder, limited edition. Leather seats, lots of gadgets. Power windows, power seats, large back cargo area, back seats fold down for more space.
The only issues are what I started with. None of them involve the engine, all cosmetic annoying little things.
1-There NO muffler/catalytic converter. It's $35.00 to buy one from Auto Zone another $69.99 to buy a catalytic converter new. You could get a used muffler cheaper. I was quoted $337.00 to install buy the parts new to fix it. My boyfriend put one of those "Cherry Bomb" mufflers on it, but if you know anything at all about them, they never fit right don't do alot to help with sound. It dose not bother me much, so I never fixed it.
2-There's wear on the seats some of the trim. Nothing major. It has leather seats, so they wear from the sun use quicker than fabric seats.
3-The computer (it has a display in the dash) says theres a "rear-lamp failure" and "service 4 wheel drive". I had it checked out was told its a sensor issues nothing is wrong with them. Mechanic suggested I replace the computer, but I never did because It does not affect me, to replace the sensor its $50, to replace the computer its $200 installed.
4-The lighter plug works, but I lost the lighter.
Since I have had the Jeep, I installed a nice radio with a remote control. It will play CDs, radio, MP3, SDCARD, WMF you can also plug a USB flash drive into it to play music from it.
Like I said, I have NO worries about the engine what-so-ever. I have never broken down, or even came close to it. Runs very nice, great in cold weather, heater/AC works (AC needs charged-I almost never used it), the computer is nice to have because if you run low on oil or anti-freeze it will tell you to check it.
The outside of the Jeep is in near perfect condition. Theres 2 black bumper guards on the back that go out past the bumper, I knocked it off trying to get a table in the back. I lost that piece, but its just black plastic, so I am sure you could get a replacement easily. I have never been in a wreck or anything like that. No damage to the body other than the bumper guard. The paints in pretty good shape, some small scuffs scratches, nothing major.
Gas mileage is not bad, I get between 19-28 MPG. I am bad about keeping my tires at the right PSI, witch affects the MPG. When I do keep the right PSI in my tires, I have gotten 29.3 MPG if I dont use the AC/heater. There is a computer on the top of the interior that will tell you the gas mileage, the outside temp, the direction you are traveling (N/S/E/W), the amount of miles you have gone and a bunch of other cool stuff. Very useful if you get lost alot like me when driving...lol. Also nice for the MPG feature, you will always know where it stands you can reset it anytime re-track it.
That's about all I can think to say about it. For the record, I am NOT selling it because of gas mileage or I know of some issue with it, I just have my eye on a certain car I want. I would never sell something I didn't know was as I described. If I missed anything, please send me an email I will try to answer your questions. I recently found out I am preganet, and so I am looking for a classic "soccer mom" car or mini-van. You can come test drive it anytime, just email me with a time. I have been selling on ebay for quite a while, as well as run my own website. I NEVER lead anyone to believe something that I dont know for a fact is true. I am a ver honest upfront seller, so please ask me anything you want to know, I will try to answer all questions asap.
The price is rather firm, and I will not take under a certain amount, so keep that in mind if you even thinking about trying to get it for $100-$200, because it wont happen. The Kelly Blue Book value is over $3,500 for this model in this condition. I can take it anytime get $3,000 for a trade in at a dealer (yes-I have already checked this) I just dont like buying cars from dealers. If you do want to buy it after you test drive it, it will be a cash only sale. We can do that at a bank transfer title then as well. Its cash only because I don't want to take the chance at bounced checks or charge backs, and I want to buy a car from a private owner too. This is also a pick-up only deal, I WILL NOT ship, escrow or anything like that. I am also requiring a deposit though Paypal to ensure you plan to complete the transaction if you do a buy now. I suggest you test drive first, but if you choose to buy now, the deposit is non-refundable unless I failed to mention some major isses (witch I didn't). I have sold quite a few cars Iv'e owned have never had any problems.
You test drive, if you like it, you buy it with cash. Period.
No scams, no shipping, no wiring money, no fake cashiers checks or anything like that. Dont try, cause I wont do it.
