1984 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER
-Runs , but needs cosmetic work-
This a great project truck for the winter. I don't really want to get rid of it, but I have to. When I bought this truck two winters ago I was told that it had a re-built engine, but I don't know if that was true. I only used it for about a year until gas prices got really high and I had to switch to a Volkswagen. I would love to keep it and fix it up but I just don't have the time or the space. I think the pictures are pretty informative as far as the work that needs to be done. It has rusted areas and there is a small hole in the roof where someone must have attached something at one point. I changed the driver's door lock, but the others need to be changed (I may even have the locks that I never put in). It needs a new ignition because the key broke off in it but it starts with no problem. I never fixed it because I thought it was convenient not to have to look for my keys. I haven't used it in a while so there might be a few new little things that I don't know about. I'm sure there is stuff that I'm forgetting so if you have any questions at all just call. My number 631-286-1457. I'm not home much but my father Jerry, is there after 4:15 (unless he's fishing) and he can answer almost any questions you may have. Weekends are good too. If you want to come see it, give us a call and we'll figure out a good time for you to come by. This is a really cool truck and I hope it can find a good home.
Don't forget: 10% of the sale price goes to the New York ASPCA so the more you spend, the more I can give to those animals.
Thanks for looking!
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL, I WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE CHECKING MY E-MAIL REGULARLY.
