This 1974 Land Rover Series 3 Norwegian military has under 26,000 original miles. Clear PA title lists 41,000 miles but it should have been listed as kilometers (DMV didn't notice that I checked off kilometers). It comes with original equipment, which includes the rifle clips, light caps, tire chains, tool kit, and axe/shovel kit in the original foot locker which appears to have never been used. I also have the camouflage net and a shop manual in Norwegian. This runs amazing; as it should with so few miles. The seat covers can be popped off, as they were placed over the original plastic covers for a little extra comfort for my children who took this with me up and down Holmenkollen mountain during the winters in Oslo. It is 24 volt and is almost completely original, with the exception of a new head that was put on it to allow it to be run on unleaded gas and a new civilian model distributor for reliability. It has dual gas tanks and a spare set of studded tires on rims. The BF Goodrich tires on it have only a few hundred miles on them. This is about as rare as they come and is in remarkable condition for it's age. Rust is minimal, the worst part being the close-up photo I took of the rear bar, which should be easily replaced. I am going back overseas and do not want this sitting around outdoors, which is the only reason I am selling it. It has been very reliable for me and I feel it could handle being driven away by the new owner, as long as you kept it under 65 mph and have your own plates and insurance. As you see, I didn't clean and shine it up in an attempt to hide anything. It doesn't burn a drop of oil and the leaks are minor enough that the oil level on the dipstick never changes (and that's with full synthetic). All of the gear oils were also changed 2 years ago and have less than 1000 miles on them. 10 percent due via Paypal within 48 hours and remainder due, in cash, within 7 days; unless previous arrangements have been made. No bidders with under 90% positive feedback or under 1 year as an eBay registered member. Email me if you would like to set up an appointment to examine it or slap it into four-wheel-drive and test it out around the farm. Your mechanic is also welcome if you want to do a compression check or anything of that nature. No early offers will be accepted and the vehicle is not being offered elsewhere, so it will sell to the highest bidder over the very reasonable reserve. Good luck bidding and God Bless!

I woke up this morning and realized that I forgot to mention that the rear heater does NOT work. It was removed years ago due to a leak. I will be happy to retract any previous bidder if you so desire. We were able to survive the Norwegian winters with just the front heater/defrost, which does work great. The front radiator curtain also works if you plan on using this in a really cold place.
