DESCRIPTION: Looking for a luxury SUV at a great price? 2001 Mercedes Benz ML320 Silver with black leather interior It’s time for us to trade up to a new car, so we’re selling this workhorse of a luxury SUV. Overall it’s still in decent shape. Engine and transmission in nice shape. Exterior has a dings but not bad considering the miles. I’ve tried to show the dings in the attached photos. I’ve listed all the flaws I could of as best I could below so there are no surprises. You are welcome to see and test drive the car. We are in downtown Chicago during the week; the car is at our weekend house in Portage, Indiana about 45 minutes to 1 hour east of Chicago on Lake Michigan, between Gary and Michigan City, IN. I’m pretty fussy about maintaining our cars. We bought this new with 8 miles on the odometer from Mercedes Benz of Morristown, NJ. The car has been waxed about two to three times each year and maintained per the required Mercedes Benz schedules through Mercedes Benz during the warranty period and then our local shop thereafter. We have receipts for any work done, including tire changes. FLAWS: Fuel gauge sometimes shows empty so we just hit the trip odometer reset button to ensure we know how much gas is in the tank. There is a auxiliary radiator pump with a slow leak that preheats the radiator fluid so the car warms up faster and provides faster heat in the winter. We have been filling up the radiator fluid every couple of months until we just discovered what caused the leak. The floor mats are original. Drivers side could be replaced. This is the fourth set of tires. I generally replace them every 40,000 miles so time for new ones. Dings include: tiny hood nicks from road rocks, passenger side micro dent (presumably someone opened a car door?), passenger side dent by wheel well, slight scrape on drivers side rear and front bumper, nicks on edge of fuel gauge door (from gas handles?), beginning evidence of a ½ inch rust bubble on rear passenger door). The black side step rails show evidence of rust on the bottom. These rails are not part of the car and can be removed if desired. I like them so I kept them. We have 2 remote control keys. I washed one by mistake so it no longer electronically operates the doors, although it works fine manually. This can be replaced if desired.
